Courage

Hello friends,
Another weekend is here again.
How did your week go?

Let's consider the subject of Courage today.

What does Courage mean?

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines courage as the mental or moral strength to venture, preserve, and withstand danger, fear or difficulty.

Courage is that quality that helps us do something inspite of unfavorable conditions.

Truly as you journey daily through life, you will or have already found out that there are a lot of things that will try to put fear in one's heart.

There are challenges that when they happen, can literally shake one to his or her very foundation.

There are also people to contend with. By that I mean popular opinions and ways of living that people around you have become accustomed to.

Daring to be different from the accepted norm can really be a huge challenge.

But if your life must count in this lifetime and you intend to leave a mark behind, you must swallow an overdose of courage.

Being courageous is not an option in the school of success. It is very necessary.

Sometimes you may be misunderstood, sometimes you'll be ridiculed, at other times, the task before you may look simply impossible.

At such a time when you're faced with such situations, the only thing that will keep you going is your courage.

Someone said 'being courageous does not connote the absence of fear but it means you choose to act inspite of the fear.'

The distance between you and your dream is not much, all it will take is just a step of courage in the right direction.

Happy weekend.
