Accept Responsibility..

Last I weekend I boarded a bus going home after work.

While on the journey was on, rain began to fall and we noticed that one of the windows had no glass and the rains was pouring in on we the passengers.

We began to complain and ask why they refused to fix their vehicle and yet had the effrontery to collect transport fare from the passengers.

All our complains were met with a stiff silence from the driver and his 'conductor'.

No apologies were rendered, instead the conductor responded by being rude and shouting at passengers who wanted to alight to do so quickly and when we asked for a cloth to clean the soaked seats we we were told they had none.

I watched this reaction and began to think in my mind how some people behave.

They offend people, take advantage of them or expose them to uncomfortable conditions inspite of being duly rewarded for the services they're to render.

Nothing destroys relationships of any kind like people refusing to taking responsibility for their wrong doings.

It's a sign of pride and immaturity to have such an attitude.

It stifles progress and closes the doors of opportunities for learning new things  or favor from people.

When you're wrong, square up and take responsibility for the wrong.
That's how to be an adult.

So as you interact daily with people, remember you're human and by omission or comfmission you'll err and the most honorable thing to do is to accept your wrong and make necessary amends.
