Lessons on boldness from the woman with the Issue of blood.

Hello friends how has the week been for you? It's the last weekend of the first month of the year already. 2018 has begun it's flight as well. I hope we make the most of the year a time waits for no one.

Today we'll be looking at the attitude of boldness and I'll be telling a story that encapsulates that.
Happy reading!

Yesterday evening while listening to a preacher online, he made reference to the story of the woman with the issue of blood as recorded in the Bible. Now whether you believe in that or not, there are lifetime lessons there I found that I would like to share.

This woman we were told had a health condition that made her bleed continuously for about 12 years. She went to see the doctors in her days and couldn't get any cure. Obviously medicine was still in its crude form back then.

One day she heard of a man, a rabbi who had this ability to heal either by speaking to the sick or laying his hands on them.
She decided in her heart to go and look for him.

Now in ancient Israel it was a big taboo according to their ceremonial laws for a woman who was bleeding to come into the public.

This woman knew this law existed and the consequences that followed for disobeying it yet she damned the consequence and came to the place where this strange Rabbi was teaching.

When she arrived there was a huge crowd that surrounded him.

A crowd she could not push away to have access to him.
She then thought for a moment about what to do and came up with this strange idea that if she would just get close enough to touch the edge of his clothes, she would get well.

The story has it that she did just that and got her need met and that touch also caught the attention of the rabbi who asked who touched him because he felt some of the healing power he carried leave his body to someone.

She came out and said she was the one and he asked her to go in peace and confirmed her healing.

The lesson to be seen from this story is the woman's boldness. All the odds were against her yet she didn't back out. She needed to get well and was ready to pay the price no matter how high to get her need met.

She had never seen the rabbi heal by someone touching the edge of his garment. All she had heard was him speaking to the sick or laying his hands yet she was not afraid to use a different approach to get her results.

Sometimes in life we have to come to that point where we damn the fear of the unknown and just do what it will take to get our results as long as it is legitimate.

My challenge to you today is this; get up, take the steps, even if no one has tried that method before go ahead and try it. That maybe the step that will open that door to your progress and victory.

Don't be afraid! Take bold steps today!

Happy weekend.

Juvenile Diabetes.

Juvenile Diabetes seems like a strange word because that disease is usually associated with adults. But in this article we will look at what that really means.  Sometime last month i was chatting with a friend on issues of diet and she went on to tell me about her observation on how a lot of modern parents in a bid to make their kids feel good or pampered stuff them with all kinds of unhealthy snacks coated with so much sugar and unhealthy preservatives. I remember also reading an article few years back about how exercises were forcefully added to school curriculums in one of these advanced countries in the middle east as they observed lots of their children coming down with obesity and diabetes. These two scenarios prompted me to write this post especially for parents, to mind what their children eat. --------- ------------- ------------ ---------- ------------- What is Juvenile Diabetes? This is a chronic condition in children in which their pancreas produces little o...
